چکیده

The cultivation of tomatoes in greenhouse structures is becoming increasingly common as a crop production system. However, the environmental conditions inside favour development microbial diseases. These diseases have an adverse effect on tomato yield and can lead to serious economic losses. This review will give insight into major affecting greenhouse-grown tomatoes, respective causal agents recommended control strategies. Some are bacterial, fungal, viral or nematode origin include bacterial spot speck, canker, early blight, gray mold, leaf powdery mildew, mosaic virus, big bug root knot. For each disease, symptoms risk factors responsible for disease described. In addition, different structural designs set-ups greenhouses covered along with their advantages limitations, especially any effects susceptibility disease. Although conventional measures discussed, greater emphasis laid use alternative biocontrol that Effective Microorganisms, natural antimicrobials nanobiopesticides. Moreover, information gathered this based combination available literature expert guidance. compilation hoped be instructive growers opting farming assist them application timely more effective

Organic Fertilizers for Greenhouse Tomatoes: Productivity and Substrate Microbiology

Organic fertilizer regimens consisting of combinations of composts (yard waste, swine manure, or spent mushroom substrate) and liquid fertilizers (fishor plant-based) were evaluated against conventional hydroponic fertilizers in two experiments with greenhouse tomatoes grown in peat-based substrate. Crop yield and fruit quality were evaluated and several assays of substrate microbial activity a...
